1974: Bachelor of Science (Honours in Pure Mathematics) University of Sydney. Honours thesis in Pure Mathematics on Russell's Paradox constructs the predicate calculus in a category with finite products. 
1975: Master of Science (Pure Mathematics) University of Sydney. Thesis on the theory of monads, a theory of mathematical theories that conceptualizes the universal nature of certain constructions in mathematics.
1984: Doctor of Philosophy (Philosophy) University of Sydney. The doctoral dissertation, published in Copenhagen in 1984, is a philosophical reading of Marx's critique of political economy, as the basis of a phenomenological theory of the bourgeois form of society. It deals also with foundational questions in economics, especially the theory of money.
Since then focus on phenomenology, starting with Heidegger and moving back to the ancient Greeks to re-question them, whence the 'side-step' to the phenomenology of whoness including the question concerning social estimation & power. The ontology of capitalism as the gainful game. The phenomenon of time as the Achilles' heel of modern mathematical science. Rethinking the essence of music beyond the λόγος of harmony.
